Gas generators are available in sizes that are small enough to take camping and large enough to power a hospital. They can be used for recreation or emergency use and are extremely handy machines to have in a pinch. Because there are so many different types of generators, finding the right one might take some research.

If you’re only looking for a small generator to take camping and to use for other recreational activities, there are many from which to choose. Depending on the specific features, a small 2000 watt generator can be purchased for less than 500 dollars. These machines are usually capable of powering lights and small appliances.

If you’re looking for an emergency generator for your home or business, you will need to invest in something much larger. Generators that can produce over 6000 watts of electricity are recommended for home use. However, if you need something to power a business or office building, larger generators are recommended.
